The open <br />terrace overlooking the ocean would be a nice location to host a luncheon. The <br />motion was passed. <br />D. Pung moved to have the Women’s Hall of Fame at the Hapuna Beach Prince <br />Hotel. K. Peters seconded the motion. The motion was passed. <br />After some discussion, K. Peters moved that CSW select <br />September 12, 2009 as the first choice and October 3, 2009 as the second <br />choice for the date of the Women’s Hall of Fame. N. Kelly seconded the motion. <br />The motion was passed. <br />C. Ka-ipo expressed her desire to have a hot lunch instead of sandwiches. <br />K. Nova suggested that C. Ka-ipo prepare a budget for the next meeting on the <br />lunch buffet, entertainment by Melveen Leed, airfare, rental car, and hotel <br />accommodations for Jade Moon, and the sound system. J. Viernes mentioned <br />that she would need to go out to bid if the cost of the sound system exceeds over <br />$400. <br />C. Ka-ipo stated that she would like to do the publicity by the end of this month <br />as well as PSAs on the radio. <br />5. Equal Pay <br />K. Peters reported that the Soroptimist is co-sponsoring $250 and AAUW is <br />co-sponsoring $100 for the equal pay ad.Both organizations will be mentioned <br />as co-sponsors with CSW. E. Cabatu has done all the legwork. <br />E. Cabatu reported that two days have been cut from the beginning. The ad will <br />be broadcast from Friday, April 25, 2009 to Tuesday, April 28, 2009. The total <br />cost of the ad is $1,062.49 for 150 spots. The radio spots will air on KWXX, B97, <br />and KPUA. <br />B. Health <br />1. Women’s Health Month <br />E. Cabatu reported that there is a request not to exceed $500 for tents, tables, <br />and chairs from CSW. She circulated a budget, flyer, and layout of the Women’s <br />Health Fair to be held on Sunday, May 17, 2009 at Keaau Shipman Park. <br />K. Nova will ask psychologists Michelle Zalenski and Bruce Hanson to do the <br />mental health screening. <br />After some discussion, E. Takazawa moved that CSW spend not to exceed $400 <br />for tents, tables, and chairs for the Women’s Health Fair. C. Ka-ipo seconded <br />the motion. The motion was passed. <br />3 <br /> <br />
