Kitaoka will contact the Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel to find out the cost <br />for the upcoming awards luncheon. The initial packet will be mailed to the <br />schools in August or September. She suggested that each winning <br />teacher receive the same amount of money to encourage participation. <br />The expenses for last years essay contest were approximately $6,000. <br />4.
