Ka-ipo reported that she would like to invite her daughter, Adie Figueroa, case <br />manager for The Salvation Army, Family Intervention Services, as a potential guest <br />speaker for the next Hilo meeting to talk about her job and get advice from CSW. <br />M. Masunaga reported that she also invited Mayor Harry Kim as a potential guest <br />speaker for the next Hilo meeting. <br />D. Other <br />M. Masunaga moved that CSW join membership with the NACW for one year. <br />K. Peters seconded the motion. The motion was passed. <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />A. Next meeting <br />The next meeting will be held on Friday, August 26, 2005, at 10:00 a.m. in Waimea. <br />Location to be announced. <br />B. Schedules <br />None. <br />C. Other <br />M. Masunaga reported that there will be a blessing for the Drug Court courtroom in <br />Kealakekua on August 22, 2005, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. In attendance will be Chief <br />Justice Ronald Moon, U.S. Attorney Ed Kubo, and Deputy Managing Director <br />Pete Hendricks. The President of the Hawaii State Bar Association will present a <br />statewideProBonoServiceAwardtoC.Kitaokaattheceremony.Apublicrelations <br />firm on Oahu has been hired to do the media coverage.
