D. Hawaii Womens Coalition next meeting to be held on Wednesday, August 18, 2004, <br />from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the YWCA on Oahu <br />E. Letter from Allicyn Hikida Tasaka, Executive Director of the Hawaii State <br />Commission on the Status of Women (HSCSW), regarding request for proposal for <br />Womens Health Month 2004 <br />The deadline for the proposal has been extended to Friday, August 20, 2004 for <br />Hawaii County CSW. <br />F. International Personnel Management Association Newsletter - GAO (Government <br />Accountability Office) Examines if Discrimination Exists Against Women in Science <br />Professions <br />G. Memorandum from Corporation Counsel regarding Reminder on Campaign <br />Restrictions for County Officials and Employees <br />H. Letter from New West Broadcasting Corporation regarding an employment opening <br />for the position of sales account executive <br />I. Memorandum from Corporation Counsel to All County Boards and Commissions <br />regarding The Sunshine Law <br />L. Guluzzy recommended that new CSW members attend the next Sunshine Law <br />training. <br />REPORTS <br />A. Education <br />1. Urgent Services Directory <br />J. Viernes presented the updated directory from former member, S. Nakoa. <br />CSW needs to decide on quantity and color. The revised directory was <br />circulated for review. <br />E. Takazawa reported that she is hoping the directory will be ready for Womens <br />Health Month. CSW members have agreed to talk about the directory before <br />different organizations and then pass it out. She suggested that L. Guluzzy <br />prepare a news release for East and West Hawaii about the talk story sessions. <br />Joan Kawakone from the Hawaii County Nutrition Program has offered a listing of <br />the various nutrition sites for distribution. <br />After some discussion, P. Newland moved to print 15,000 copies on canary <br />yellow paper. E. Takazawa seconded the motion. The motion was passed. <br />2. First Female Booklet <br />L.Guluzzysuggestedthatshewouldliketoremovethisitemfromfuture <br />agendas unless someone decides to spearhead this project. <br />2 <br /> <br />
