NEW BUSINESS <br />A. New Committees <br />L. Guluzzy stated that she would like to add Ðcommunity reportsÑ on the agenda <br />under Reports. L. Guluzzy made a motion to add community reports to the agenda <br />as item E. Community Reports. S. Nakoa seconded the motion. Th <br />passed. <br />M. Lake reported that she would like to appoint chairs to spearhead certain <br />committees once new members come on board. CSW agreed. <br />B. Sponsorships and Co-Sponsorships <br />M. Lake reported that M. Masunaga is currently working on two proposals. <br />C. Guest Speakers <br />M. Lake reported that she would like to establish a list of gues <br />committee came up with the following people: Senator Lorraine Inouye, Mayor <br />Harry Kim, Diane Lee, and intermediate and high school women. More names can <br />be added later. <br />D. CSW Program Budget Î Ratification <br />Tabled. <br />E. Training Meeting <br />M. Lake reported that she would like to have a training meeting to discuss goals and <br />objectives for next year. CSW decided to wait until new appointments are made to <br />CSW. <br />F. Business Cards <br />L. Guluzzy made a motion that CSW print 1,000 business cards. J. Balberde- <br />Kamalii seconded the motion. The motion was passed. <br />G. NACW Convention 2004 <br />M. Lake reported that the National Association of Commissions for Women <br />Convention will be held next year. However, she would like CSW to think about <br />attending the 2005 convention. She will provide more details about the convention <br />at the next meeting. <br />L. Guluzzy stated that it will make a difference on cost depending on the location of <br />the convention whether it will be on the East Coast or the West Coast. <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />A. Next meeting <br />The next meeting will be held on Friday, January 16, 2004, at 10 a.m. in Hilo. <br />Location to be announced. <br />6 <br /> <br />
