The print ad can be published in the health insert geared towards parents on <br /> <br />identifying what is an abusive relationship in teens. <br /> <br />E. Cabatu said that one week run on KWXX/B-97/KPUA was a little more than a <br />$1,000 and there are two main radio groups. It will cost approximately $2,500 to do <br />a radio spot for a week. However, one radio group provides a better deal than the <br />other. K. Peters would like to utilize all the radio groups instead of certain stations. <br />K. Peters moved that a subcommittee consisting of E. Cabatu, K. Peters, and <br />K.Schneider be established to prepare the radio ad with a budget. K. Schneider <br />seconded the motion. The motion was passed. <br />After some discussion, K. Peters amended the motion that the subcommittee will <br />have a budget up to $3,000 for radio ads for teen dating violence prevention. <br />N.Kelly seconded the motion. The motion was passed. <br />E.Teens Internet Protection <br /> <br />K. Peters suggested tabling teens internet protection and putting some motivation <br />into mentoring. K. Peters moved that CSW take the teens internet protection off the <br />agenda and replace it with mentoring. D. Downs seconded the motion. The motion <br />was passed. <br />F.CSWEvent Board –K. Peters/K. Schneider <br /> <br />K. Peters presented the completed event board for display. Everything on the board <br />is removable. She suggested that a group photo be taken at the next meeting for <br />the board. J. Mecklenburg offered to store the board for CSW. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />A.Nominating Committee <br /> <br />N. Kelly and K. Peters offered to serve on the nominating committee and to come up <br />with a slate of officers for elections in June. <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />A.Next Meeting <br /> <br />The next meeting will be held on Friday, May 13, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. inthe Mayor’s <br />Office conference room in Kona. <br />B.Schedules <br /> <br />D.
