H.Budgetary FY 2011-12–N. Kelly <br /> <br />N. Kelly reported that CSW submitted a budget for $11,130 for next fiscal year. <br />CSW’s current budget is $11,169. The Finance Director returned the expenditure <br />worksheets with their comments asking if the committee could start meeting only <br />every other month, or is monthly required? N. Kelly will respond that CSW will <br />reduce the number of meetings by one more. With the events, the number of <br />meetings is needed so the committee can adequately plan and prepare. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />A.Recruitment of New Members <br /> <br />K. Nova reported that there are two vacancies on CSW for the Puna, Volcano, and <br />Kau district. K. Peters said CSW don’t have members from Waimea, Kohala, <br />Honokaa, and Volcano. <br />K. Schneider mentioned a potential candidate from the Waimea/Hawi area who is <br />interested in serving. K. Nova mentioned that Linda Ugalde from Volcano was very <br />impressive. E. Cabatu suggested M. Newman from the UHH Women’s Center. <br />J.Mecklenburg suggested a potential candidate from Hawaii Community College. <br />K. Peters mentioned Tracey Fosso, Publisher from West Hawaii Today as a great <br />candidate to serve on CSW. <br />Interested members who are willing to serve need to complete an application for <br />boards and commissions which can be obtained from J. Viernes. <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />A.Next Meeting <br /> <br />The next meeting will be held on Friday, February 11, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. in Hilo. <br />Location to be announced. <br />D. Pung announced that C.
