CARVALHO: <br /> Yes. <br />MS. O’HARA: <br /> Are you talking about the response to the initial letter? <br />MR. TAKABA: <br /> Yeah. We sent to the departments that questionnaire, and I just <br />wanted to know who didn’t submit it yet so that I can email them to let them know that <br />we still need it. I think Office of Aging was one of them. <br />MS. WONG: <br /> Bobby Jean, I think did not respond yet. <br />MR. TAKABA: <br /> Planning? I’ll wait for her to give me the full list. The other thing is you <br />said you were going to meet with Finance, the committee. As they come in, I’ve been <br />sharing the responses with Finance including the anonymous ones because this is <br />public record, right? <br />MS. GARSON: <br /> Yes. <br />MR. TAKABA: <br /> So, I’ve been sharing it with them because they are in the budget <br />process right now. And there may do things in there that they may want to look at from <br />the departments because if we can implement certain things now rather than next year <br />that would help. <br />MS. GARSON: <br /> When we get to number six you can talk about it. <br />MR. TAKABA: <br /> Okay. <br />REPORTS FROM SUBCOMMITTEES <br />A.Operations, Budget, Policy and Consolidation (G. Wong, G. Matsuda) <br />MS. WONG: <br /> Moving on to Item 5, Report first from Operations, Budget, Policy and <br />Consolidation. Glen and I are in that committee. Glen will be making the report, oral <br />report. <br />MS. GARSON: <br /> And just a reminder that what this is, is the report, so there’s not going <br />to be any discussion at this meeting of all of the things contained in the report. We will <br />agendize for the next meeting, discussion and possible action on report given on 10/8. <br />So this is just a presentation. <br />MR. MATSUDA: <br /> We discussed with Mr. Kurohara. We had a meeting with him on <br />September 28 at the office of Bill Takaba, which had very good surroundings. Thank <br />you, Bill. The discussions basically were regarding his letter and comments and <br />recommendations that were made, and what I think that I got of it mostly was regarding <br />the use of the laser fische, which I think maybe all departments should be having <br />5 <br /> <br />
