Garson, Deputy Corporation Counsel <br />Mary E. Crosson, Secretary <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br />The Chair called the meeting to order at 10:03 a.m. <br />2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES FROM JULY 6, 2006 MEETING <br />Motion and Vote: Ms. Nicholson moved to approve the minutes of July 6, 2006. Ms. <br />Stremski seconded the motion, and all members except for Mr. Joseph voted aye. Mr. Joseph <br />abstained, as he was not present at the meeting on July 6, 2006. <br />3. STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC <br />No members of the public were present. <br />4. APPROVAL OF ADDENDUM AND /OR SUPPLEMENTAL AGENDA <br />There was no addendum or supplemental agenda. <br />5. PRESENTATION AND QUESTION /ANSWER SESSION BY THE <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS, HIGHWAY MAINTENANCE DIVISION <br />Stanley Nakasone, Division Head for the Highway Maintenance Division of the <br />Department of Public Works introduced himself. He stated that his answers to the COGC's letter <br />were incorporated in Jiro Sumada's response on behalf of the Department of Public Works. <br />
