Mr. Sakaguchi <br />and Ms. Nicholson raised their hands. All who opposed, by raising their hands: Mr. <br />Joseph, Ms. Cushnie, and the Chair. The motion to limit the meetings to two and a half <br />hours failed. <br />The Chair stated that he would try to get the meetings done in two and a half hours and <br />that the motion could always be revisited. <br />11. DISCUSSION OF ITEMS TO BE PLACED ON NEXT AGENDA <br />Ms. Garson stated that she had the Department of Environmental Management on the <br />next agenda, as well as a variation of item 7 on discussion or action about prioritizing to <br />accomplish the mandate of the Commission. She said she will have that as a running <br />agenda item. <br />Ms. Nicholson said to include the letter they were to send to the departments. <br />Ms. Cushnie reminded Ms. Garson that she needed to bring various documents to the <br />next meeting, and Ms. Garson said that would not be an agenda item, and she doubted <br />she would be able to get the book by the next meeting. <br />(Ms. Garson requested a short break to check on whether the Liquor Department's <br />conference room would be available on April 6, 2006 The meeting broke at 12:45 p.m. <br />and reconvened as 12:47p.m.) <br />Ms. Garson reported that the conference room is available for April 6 and she cancelled <br />their reservation for its use on April 3, 2006. <br />12. STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC <br />The Chair stated that there were no statements from the public. <br />13. ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />The Chair announced that the next meeting is scheduled for April 6, 2006, at the <br />conference room at the Department of Liquor Control. <br />20 <br />
