Commission member Sanborn seconded the motion. Motion passed <br />unanimously. <br />APPROVAL OF ADDENDUM AND/OR SUPPLEMENTAL AGENDA: <br />3.None <br />STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC ON ITEMS LISTED ON AGENDA: <br />4.None <br />CORRESPONDENCE/REPORTS/DISCUSSION: <br />5. <br />Directors Report <br />(attached to original minutes) <br />The Solid Waste reports distributed with report were reviewed and discussed. <br />· <br />Sanborn made a motion for the commission to strongly urge the head of the <br />· <br />department to put on a training session for both County Council and <br />Commission on or about January 12, 2007 relating to department functions and <br />programs. Witcher seconded the motion and it passed unanimously. <br />The County intends to update the Integrated Solid WasteManagement Plan next year <br />· <br />and this commission will assume the role of the Solid Waste Advisory Committee <br />and start the review process. <br />The office move to Puainako has been delayed. <br />· <br />TechnicalServicesSectionReport <br />(attachedtooriginalminutes) <br />This report has been revised, prioritizing projects according to their importance. <br />· <br />NAALEHU/PAHALALARGECAPACITYCESSPOOLREPLACEMENT: <br />C. Brewer is moving forward with managing and overseeing the private connections. <br />· <br />C. Brewer and the County are stillnegotiating the responsibility of individual <br />· <br />connections. <br /> <br />
