Communication No. 10- 025: Letter dated July 9, 2010 to PONC, from Michelle <br />Medeiros, re: Misuse of County funds for the preparation of an Environmental <br />Assessment (EA) for the Waimea Trails and Greenways Shared Use Path "Ke Ala <br />Kahawai O Waimea" <br />DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE REPORT <br />Personnel from the Department of Finance will answer any questions from the <br />commissioners regarding the Commission's budget or any other financial <br />matters. <br />OFFICE OF THE CORPORATION COUNSEL'S REPORT <br />Deputy Corporation Counsel Amy Self to provide comments and /or information <br />relating to matters of concern to the Commission. <br />CHAIRPERSON'S REPORT <br />Chairperson E. Kalani Flores to provide comments and /or information relating to <br />matters of concern to the Commission. <br />UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br />Commissioners to identify and compile a directory of: <br />➢ funding sources for land /entitlement acquisitions; <br />➢ funding sources for land maintenance and management; <br />➢ potential partnerships with other governmental agencies, non- <br />profit organizations, and private entities for land /entitlement <br />acquisitions; & <br />➢ partnerships with non- profit organizations, community groups, <br />and volunteer organizations to provide maintenance and <br />management for acquired properties <br />Commissioners to discuss, review and assess Suggestion Forms submitted <br />by the public for 2010 <br />Commissioners to discuss scheduling of site visits for properties that are <br />selected for the 2010 Prioritized List <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Commissioners to discuss refining the priority adjustment ranking <br />process, in consultation with the Office of Corporation Counsel, <br />Department of Finance, and the Mayor to guide the integration of newly <br />suggested properties with lists submitted in previous years <br />Commissioners to discuss establishing a policy regarding properties that <br />are not for sale /acquisition <br />Commissioners to discuss drafting of the 2010 Annual Report to the <br />Mayor including the 2010 Prioritized List <br />2 <br />
