<br />MR. UDOVIC: ItÓs not a good idea to start making all the Commissioners getting together for <br />non-meetings. It just doesnÓt work. <br /> <br />CHR. SIRACUSA: I would prefer to be in a meeting venue because then the members of the <br />public who are interested could also benefit from that orientation. So, are we ready for a vote? <br /> <br />MR. KAHAWAIOLAÒA: Madam Chair, just for a point of information, and itÓs for me. ItÓs not <br />putting Ms. Nakamoto under any gun; with the exception of you were assured that weÓre going <br />to get it by the end of the month. You were assured. ItÓs not that you said it, but you were <br />assured they were going to give it to you by the end of the month. <br /> <br />MS. NAKAMOTO: Yes. <br /> <br />MR. KAHAWAIOLAÒA: It should be here by the end of the month so that when we have our <br />ndnd <br />meeting on June 2, if itÓs not here on June 2, I want us not to go after her and say, ÐYou <br />saidÈ.Ñ ThatÓs all I needed to make clear. <br /> <br />CHR. SIRACUSA: So, Patricia, maybe we are also giving you incentive to do a little nagging <br />on the other end there, to try to hasten things along. <br /> <br />MR. UDOVIC: Ms. Nakamoto made a comment to me that if the materials are available and the <br />contract is signed and that kind of thing, maybe we can even have the training on the web based <br />nd <br />software on June 2 as well. That would be something that we are going to push for. <br /> <br />CHR. SIRACUSA: We could put that on the agenda. <br /> <br />MR. MELROSE: I see my conversation as a back-up to that conversation; only really as a filler <br />to try and get something done. So letÓs start working on that and if you actually--because itÓs <br />going to require Royce and the trainers to be in the room and thatÓs a whole other scheduling <br />nd <br />issue. So letÓs aim at June 2 and weÓll have a back up plan so we keep moving our <br />conversation but itÓs kind of a back up to the training.
