Unfortunately, his counsel isn't <br />here, he could have provided us with written communication at this meeting. I <br />personally appreciate the information being given by Mr. Frankel, and I welcome <br />the opportunity at the next Board meeting for Mr. Arakaki and his counsel to be <br />here, and he knows the next meeting is scheduled for November 9, is that correct? <br />MC: Yes. <br />WJ: And we definitely want to pursue this matter. <br />CHAIR: Thank you. Do you have any <br />KI: I just want to say, I back him up on that. <br />CHAIR: Any other matters on this? <br />FRANKEL: Well, I have a court hearing on November 9. I will not be here, but that should <br />not stop you from proceeding. I've given you lots of information, so yeah, I will <br />not be here, and if you find outI would suggest that at some point you call a <br />recess and have staff investigate whether Campaign Spending Commission's <br />meeting November 9, and if they are, you can change your meeting date. I don't <br />know what your rules provide, but <br />RW: We can change the date. <br />FRANKEL: It would be—anyway. <br />KI: Okay, just as far as changing the meeting date, I will be gone November 10. <br />CHAIR: So will I. <br />WJ: State championships on Maui, I mean on Kauai for <br />KI: - -from November 10 through November 21St or 22"d, whatever is a Monday. <br />32 <br />
