Board of Ethics <br />Minutes - Regular Session <br />December 13, 2006 <br />BLT: That is the part that I didn't attach in here, that the state does have, about how do <br />I file an opinion. I'll put those in. <br />AL: It doesn't have to be all the forms, just who is the Board of Ethics, what is their <br />phone number. <br />BLT: A mailing address. <br />AL: The first contact says here this is what I can do. I can call this number and they <br />will tell me what to do. <br />KS: That is a good idea, it makes it user friendly. <br />AL: Yeah, it makes it user friendly. We really do need to move in this direction. <br />BLT: This is the most proactive board that we have had in a long time. You should be <br />proud of yourselves. This is a good thing, because you are actually being proactive and are <br />trying to help avoid problems as opposed to sitting here and waiting for something to come in <br />and react to. <br />AL: It feels like housekeeping. But to try to make it possible so people don't get into <br />these situations. If we are going to sit here we might as well do something. <br />WJ: Absolutely. Any further action on item b? <br />AL: Are we going to table this? <br />WJ: Yes, it will come back to us next month on the agenda. <br />AL: Draft number 2 is expected. <br />WJ: So let's move into item c. <br />C. Final review of the revised detailed instructions and financial disclosure <br />form. <br />WJ: This is it, right? <br />AL: This is it, we have two amendments going, you have the letter that is going to the <br />council to remove the "County of Hawaii" from where your property is and to change.... <br />WJ: In the meantime, this is it? <br />AL: In the meantime this is it. <br />16 <br />
