The Board recessed from 11:23 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. <br />CHAIR: Okay, I'd like to call this meeting back into order from the recess and just <br />remind everybody to please speak when addressed by the Board and not out of turn. <br />Again, we're discussing Communication 2010 -052 regarding sale of Hdmdkua lands. <br />UM Okay, I have a motion. We've had a lot of discussion on this. I'm ready to make <br />a motion. I move that we accept and file Communication No. 2010 -052 regarding sale of <br />Hdmdkua lands because wait a minute. I move we accept and file this communication <br />without action, as we do not have jurisdiction. <br />HENRICKS: I second the motion. <br />CHAIR: Okay, all in favor? <br />L UM: Aye. <br />HENRICKS, and CHAIR (simultaneously): Aye. <br />CHAIR: Ms. Stephens, I want to thank you for submitting this and bringing this to our <br />attention, and I really sincerely hope that you find some recourse in this and success in <br />the title search and getting clarification on it. <br />STEPHENS: And I just wanted to ask one last question. Is it possible for you to write a <br />letter recommending to the mayor that they make Title Guaranty reflect the criminal act <br />of the altered document? <br />CHAIR: We can't make them do anything, unfortunately. <br />STEPHENS: But I mean, is it possible to just write a letter of recommendation to avoid <br />further unethical behavior by the county? <br />CHAIR: No, but we can send them the minutes and the testimony from today, and I think <br />it's pretty much made clear <br />STEPHENS: - -Yes <br />CHAIR: - -that that's what's <br />STEPHENS: -- That's what needs to happen.
