DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE REPORT <br />Nancy Crawford thanked all commissioners for their hard work and dedication to <br />the Mayor and she was very impressed with the commissioners' organization <br />skills in assembling the paperwork in such a short time. <br />CHAIRPERSON'S REPORT <br />None <br />UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br />The Commissioners continued working on prioritizing the list for the Mayor's <br />Report due April 5, 2006. <br />For the record, Commissioner Jocelyn Garovoy provided no input on the <br />completed survey forms submitted for Cohen in Holding (near Lapakahi State <br />Park) and Gordy in Holding (property within Lapakahi State Park). <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />The Commission's secretary passed out the schedule for the State of Hawaii <br />Sunshine Law Workshops sponsored by the Office of the Corporation Counsel <br />and presented by Leslie Kondo, Director of the Office of Information Practices to <br />be held in Hilo on Tuesday, April 18, 2006 and in Kona on Wednesday, May 10, <br />2006. The Commissioners were encouraged to attend. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Hannah Springer to take a recess and <br />to reconvene on Monday, April 3, 2006, seconded by Commissioner Laura <br />Schuster, and carried unanimously by voice vote. <br />Meeting was reconvened on Monday, April 3, 2006 at 10:00 a.m., by Vice - <br />Chair Hannah Springer. <br />Commissioners present at Monday, April 3, 2006 meeting were Commissioners <br />Jocelyn Garovoy, Ruth Walker, Laura Schuster, Kenneth Kaneshiro, Paul <br />Campbell and Hannah Springer. Also present were Stanley Iwamoto from the <br />Department of Finance, Amy Self, Deputy Corporation Counsel and Cathy Minor. <br />Commissioners reviewed the "Draft" report to the Mayor prepared by <br />Commissioner Jocelyn Garovoy and "Draft" cover letter prepared by <br />Commissioner Kenneth Kaneshiro. After reviewing the cover letter and report to <br />the Mayor, the Commissioners worked together and finalized both. <br />Commissioners worked together and completed the prioritized list for the Mayor <br />due April 5, 2006. <br />2 <br />
