Chu, re: Support for <br />Richard and June Ha's application to sell an agricultural conservation easement on TMK: (3) 2 -8 -04:05 <br />Communication No. 10 -024: Letter dated June 28, 2010 to PONC, from Pamela Cushnie and LaDonna <br />and Kurt Shively, re: Misuse of County funds for the preparation of an Environmental Assessment (EA) <br />for the Waimea Trails and Greenways Shared Use Path "Ke Ala Kahawai O Waimea" <br />Communication No. 10 -025: Letter dated July 9, 2010 to PONC, from Michelle Medeiros, re: Misuse of <br />County funds for the preparation of an EA for the Waimea Trails and Greenways Shared Use Path "Ke <br />Ala Kahawai O Waimea" <br />Mr. Flores asked about Communication Nos. 10 -024 and 10 -025 and whether they needed to take action <br />on this. Ms. Kelepolo told Mr. Flores that these letters were sent to the Commission in error and have <br />been forwarded to the County Parks and Recreation who will be responding to both parties. <br />Mr. Flores then noted that Communication Nos. 10 -022 — 10 -025 have been received and filed. <br />OFFICE OF THE CORPORATION COUNSEL'S REPORT <br />Ms. Self had nothing to report. <br />CHAIRPERSON'S REPORT <br />Mr. Flores had nothing to report. <br />Recess: 11:29 a.m. <br />Reconvened: 11:37 a.m. <br />DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE REPORT <br />Mr. Van Bergen reported on the status update for the properties listed below: <br />( #1) Kawa - The County received an extension from DLNR, LLCP for an additional year to June 30, <br />2011. He noted that there are some title issues that need to be addressed before the State approves the <br />purchase. <br />( #2) Pa`o`o - We are currently in escrow which hopefully will close by September 30th since the 945,000 <br />from LLCP was awarded by the State. <br />
