Tsunami Evacuation Centers <br /> When the County of Hawai'i is placed under a tsunami warning by the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center a <br /> compulsory evacuation will be implemented for all areas that lie within the established tsunami <br /> evacuation zones as listed in the local telephone directory. Evacuees are encouraged to seek shelter <br /> with family or friends who live outside of the evacuation zone. For evacuees without other recourse, <br /> the evacuation centers listed below will be opened to accommodate them. Be advised that the <br /> evacuation centers will not provide food or bedding. A place to park your vehicle,and restroom <br /> facilities will be provided.
