The Planning Committee will include representatives from each <br /> County agency or department having hazard mitigation responsibilities. The Planning <br /> Committee will meet on a semi-annual basis with State Civil Defense to ensure that the <br /> monitoring, evaluation and updating tasks are being carried out. <br /> The department and agency representatives will also prepare an annual briefing with the <br /> Mayor's office, possibly in conjunction with a joint county workshop / meeting of the <br /> Hawaii State Earthquake Advisory Committee of State Civil Defense. The Planning <br /> Committee will prepare an annual report by September of every year and present it to the <br /> Mayor.
