They have been asked by the State Reapportionment Commission <br />to assist with a public hearing to be held at the WHCC on Wednesday, September 14, 2011. <br />The cost estimate provided to us for holding our meeting on Thursday, September 15, 2011, is based <br />on the fact that equipment will have already been set up for the State, and would not have to be set up <br />again for the County's Redistricting Commission meeting. Other possible dates would be Thursday, <br />September 22, 2011 and Friday, September 23, 2011 which would follow County Council meetings <br />held in Kona earlier that week, so equipment would be set up. <br />Therefore, I recommend we select one of the three dates mentioned above to hold a Redistricting <br />Commission meeting at the West Hawaii Civic Center in Kona. <br />Sincerely, <br />� l k <br />Karen Eoff <br />Secretary, 2011 Redistricting Commission <br />COMM. 34 <br />Serving the Interests of the People of Our Island <br />
