Minutes <br /> Regular Meeting of the Pension Board <br /> November 24, 2003 <br /> Finance Department Conference Room <br /> County Building <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> The meeting was called to order by Chairman Beatrice Lau at 1:31 p.m. <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> The following Board members were present: Beatrice L. Lau, Susan Sulprizio,William S. <br /> Taylor and Sean Oda. Also present were Craig Masuda,Deputy Corporation Counsel; Al S. <br /> Konishi, County Clerk; Linda Tsunoda and Susan Tanouye,Accounts Division; and Irma <br /> Sumera, Secretary. Board member Spike Werner and Finance Director William Takaba were <br /> absent. <br /> The Secretary announced there was a quorum. <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES—August 25,2003 <br /> Sean Oda moved and William Taylor seconded that the minutes of August 25, 2003 be approved; <br /> motion carried. <br /> STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC <br /> No one from the public was in attendance. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> ELECTION OF OFFICERS FOR YEAR 2004 <br /> Sean Oda moved and Susan Sulprizio seconded that Spike Werner be nominated as Chairman <br /> and Susan Sulprizio be nominated as Vice Chairman; motion carried. <br />
