COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII BILL NO. 161 ORDINANCE NO. JS 158 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 14, ARTICLE 10, OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO EXCEPTIONAL TREES. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: SECTION 1. Chapter 14, Article 10, of the Hawai'i County Code, 1983 (June 2005 edition), is amended by removing a tree from the existing list of thirty three exceptional trees, and renumbering, as follows: SECTION 14 -65. Designated Exceptional Trees. The following tree is to be removed from the "Exceptional Trees of the County of Hawai'i" list: TREE TAX MAP KEY AND LOCATION OWNER [15. Quinine 2 -3 -05:1 County of Hawai'i Cinchona sp. Kalakaua Park] SECTION 2. The subsequent items on the list shall be renumbered accordingly. SECTION 3. Material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New material is underscored. In printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed and stricken material and underscoring need not be included. SECTION 4. Severability. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof to any person or circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to this end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable.
