SECTION 2. Chapter 24, article 10, division 5, section 24 -283, schedule 31 (One <br />hour parking areas), Hawai'i County Code 1983 (2005 edition, as amended), is <br />amended by adding the following to be appropriately numbered and to read as follows: <br />"Section 24 -283. Schedule 31. One hour parking areas. <br />When signs are erected giving notice thereof, vehicle parking on the following <br />streets and portions of streets is limited to one hour: <br />(a) Hamakua <br />(b) North Hilo <br />(c) South Hilo <br />(1) Keawe Street, from Haili Street to Mamo Street. <br />() Kilauea Avenue southwest side, beginning from a point thirty -eight <br />feet south of Aupuni Street and extending three hundred twelve feet <br />in the southerly direction except for those areas designated as No <br />Parking Zones and Freight Loading Zones, between the hours of <br />8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. from Mondays to Fridays. <br />(d) Ka'u <br />(e) Kohala <br />(f) Kona <br />(1) Mamalahoa Highway in Kainaliu, from Okamura Store to the Ka'u side of <br />Aloha Theater. <br />(g) Puna" <br />SECTION 3. New material is underscored. In printing this ordinance, the <br />underscoring need not be included. <br />SECTION 4. If any provision of this ordinance or the application thereof to any <br />person or circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or <br />applications of the ordinance that can be given effect without the invalid provision or <br />application, and to this end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be <br />severable. <br />SECTION 5.
