Nova agreed to come up with a few <br />proposals for a career day luncheon and provide it for discussion at the next <br />meeting. <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />A. Request for funding for the Filipino Domestic Violence Conference – 10/28/11 <br />The HSCSW has agreed to fully fund the $2,000 expense for keynote speaker <br />Leni Marin. <br /> <br />th <br />B. 8 Annual International Women’s Leadership Conference – 9/20/11 <br />K. Schneider said she will be attending the conference. K. Nova will ask D. Downs if <br />she will be attending. After some discussion, D. Pung moved that CSW will pay for <br />registration fees, airfare, taxi, and airport parking for two people. K. Peters <br />seconded the motion. The motion was passed. <br /> <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />A. Next Meeting <br />The next meeting will be held on Friday, September 9, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. at the <br />Prosecutor’s Office conference room in Hilo. <br /> <br />B. Schedules <br />K. Nova and C.
