I think it is bringing Kohala <br />people down. <br />Mr. Carvalho moved to eliminate Plan_5. <br />Seconded by Mr. Kanuha and carried <br />by the following vote: <br />Ayes: Commissioners Carvalho, KahawaiolaÒa, <br /> Kanuha, Melrose, Middlesworth, <br /> Poindexter, Ugalde, and Chair Siracusa. <br />Noes: None. <br />Absent: Commissioner Kahui. <br /> <br /> <br />Review and Discuss Plan_17 <br /> <br />CHR. SIRACUSA <br />: LetÓs look at Plan_17. This plan does have Volcano in a Puna district, and it <br />has two Puna districts. <br /> <br />MR. MIDDLESWORTH <br />: But the numbers donÓt work very well in Plan_17, but it is an <br />excellent map to start with, I can tell you that with having set and gone round and round with <br />these maps. <br />MR. MELROSE: This is the one that puts HonokaÓa in what was District 9, it renumbered it. <br />This is a Waimea, Hawi, HonokaÓa District. <br />MR. MIDDLESWORTH: Does it split Waikloa? <br /> <br />MR. MELROSE: No it doesnÓt. <br /> <br />CHR. SIRACUSA: Waikloa and Puako are in the same district there. <br /> <br />MR. KANUHA: Can you scroll down to District 8; I can see all three districts from there. <br />CHR. SIRACUSA: I do want to mention that if we do decide to make changes to a plan, if we <br />find a plan is pretty close except it needs a little bit of tweaking here and there, then we would <br />need to make a motion to save that plan with a new number. <br /> <br />MR.
