Senior Training & Employment Program <br /> <br />Clyde Yoshida, Program Director, (808) 961-8750 <br /> <br />The STEP partnered with the Hawai‘i Community College with coordinator Tiana Koga and <br />instructor Christopher Jacobson to produce a first time Ground Maintenance and Safety course. <br />It was a hands on and academic training in grounds maintenance, soil structure, planting and <br />tool use. Classes were held at the UH Hilo College of Agriculture Farm and on the UH campus. <br />Pictured in the center are the proud graduates and staff. <br /> <br />Kupuna News 15 October-December 2011
