Fr: Margaret Wille <br />9.20.11 <br />Re: Redistricting Maps -- Corrected Map 39: software glitch <br />Please replace Map 39 (as published on the Redistricting Committee's website) with the <br />Map 39 as corrected - submitted on September 16th. I corrected Map 39 to be <br />consistent with the 5% deviation maximum requirement. <br />While working on options for a redistricting map, I used the "Integrity Check" program to <br />determine if the draft map met the deviation and road connectivity criteria. However <br />the software allows for 10% deviation --so the maps/ submitted allowed for up to 10% <br />deviation, not 5 %. 1 did not realize the software incorrectly defaulted to a10% deviation <br />when on the County Council program. <br />My point is that: <br />1 corrected Map 39 (submitted on September 15th) to meet the S °o deviation <br />requirement (submitted as Map 39 - corrected), therefore please review this corrected <br />map 39, not my initial submission. <br />THANK YOU FOR YOUR WORK.
