Page 1 of 1 <br />Eoff, Karen <br />From: Heather McNeill [heddiemc @ gmail.com] <br />Sent: Wednesday, October 05, 2011 5:03 AM <br />To: keoff@co.hawaii.hi.us <br />Subject: redistricting <br />Dear Ms Keoff, <br />I am writing regarding the upcoming meetings about the redistricting plans for the County of Hawaii. <br />I live in Hawaiian Paradise Park, which one of the plans is proposing to divide into two voting districts. <br />This goes against the requirement /suggestion/guidelines that towns and communities not be split up. I <br />would urge the county commission to keep HPP as one voting block, as residents in HPP have goals and <br />needs in common,as do most communities. <br />I hope to attend at least one of the meetings, but am currently away from home. <br />I would appreciate your submitting my opinion as written testimony to the commission. <br />With thanks <br />Heather McNeill <br />HPP resident <br />COMM. 42.16 <br />10/5/2011 <br />
