Adjustments to the Districts 6/7 and Districts 7/8 boundaries based on input <br />from Kona residents at 10 -17 public hearing. Principle changes are: <br />■ District 6/7 boundary modification: this revision combines Kealakekua business <br />area and Hokulia development all in one District (District #7) except for the <br />unpopulated south end of Hokulia golf course area which is combined in a very <br />large southerly census block- which remains in District #6) <br />■ District 7/8 boundary modification: this alternative combines the entire <br />waterfront downtown area in one District (District #7), and modifies the 7/8 <br />boundary mauka in manner to minimize fragmentation of <br />neighborhood /subdivisions. <br />2. Extends District 2 all the way along Saddle Road instead of having District 6 <br />extend up to Saddle Road in the middle portion of that road (this revision was <br />shown in my submission to the commission dated 10- 17 -11) <br />There are no other changes made in this revision.
