Nash <br />Chair, EDH 2025 VisionKeepers <br />August 20, 2007 <br />EDH 2025 <br />VisionKeepers <br />Dear Mayor Kim, County of Hawaii Agencies, Hawaii County Council Members, <br />and Interested Citizens, <br />Paul Nash <br />Cheer <br />On behalf of the EDH 2025 VisionKeepers, I am pleased to present the January <br />J,unesteonnra <br />2006 —June 2007 EDH 2025 Annual Report. <br />Vice Cheer <br />SuahaAchn" <br />Over the past eighteen months, I have enjoyed the honor of working with a group <br />Barb r,iAndersen <br />of selfless citizens who are committed to the community's Vision for Downtown <br />Leah Craft <br />Hilo. <br />Kdholo Daguman <br />Neil Erickson <br />This group is called the EDH 2025 VisionKeepers, and the Vision is detailed in <br />SoniaJucik <br />En Vision Downtown Hilo 2025: A Community -based Vision and Living Action Plan <br />Kathleen Nielsen <br />for Downtown Hilo. <br />Eileen O'Hora -Weir <br />EnVision Downtown Hilo 2025 is a model implementation project which relies on <br />Dolly Strazar <br />collaboration between governmental agencies and community groups as a <br />measure of its success. The VisionKeepers are documenting their triumphs and <br />SusmGigorik <br />challenges to assist other Big Island communities who are about to implement their <br />Counts of Ha-eai Pla m-ino Department Liaison <br />own community plans. <br />Alex Frost <br />H�—eui Counts Pesource Center Lieuson <br />This first Annual Report documents the VisionKeepers' work bringing the <br />KylieAlexmdm <br />community's Vision to fruition. The foundation being laid justifies confidence that <br />o11ll11Li1lltC Plfrllllllo Assistant <br />this ambitious new approach to planning will ensure a vibrant Downtown Hilo for <br />nlarlene nlunay <br />the keiki of tomorrow. <br />recorder <br />EDH 2025 has enjoyed support from many community groups, County agencies, <br />Mayor Kim, and the Hawaii County Council. We especially thank Council members <br />Stacy Higa, J.
