MIDDLESWORTH: You have the files on your computer so you don't have to <br />download them. <br />MR. KAHAWAIOLA`A: So then we would need the availability of internet connectivity <br />then. <br />MR. KANUHA: We need internet connectivity to pull up the software and move districts. At <br />these public hearings we are not moving districts; we are just talking about the maps that are <br />being created. <br />MR. KAHAWAIOLA`A: Thank you Mr. Chair. <br />MR. MIDDLESWORTH: You still have to have the ability to use the software to look at a <br />map. <br />MS. POINDEXTER: You can get the software through the internet, correct? <br />MR. MIDDLESWORTH: Right. <br />MS. POINDEXTER: So we do need internet connection because you need to have the <br />program available on the computer. <br />MR. MIDDLESWORTH: The program displays the maps for you; you can't open the map <br />file unless you are using the ESRI software. The only way you can use the ESRI software is <br />on the internet. <br />MS. POINDEXTER: So we need internet connection, what Mike is saying is we need <br />internet connection just to pull up the maps outside of working on them; just to show them <br />and be able to zoom in and zoom out on the districts. So we do internet connection even <br />though we will not be working on the maps in the program itself. <br />
