6. We travel further to go shopping than any one else living in the state. <br />7. Our children travel further to school than any other children in the state. <br />8. The proposed realignment puts Pahala in the outfield of Kea'au and Na'alehu in the <br />outfield of South Kona. DIVIDE &CONQUER. <br />10. If we also consider the other proposals already on Ka'u's plate, we begin to see the <br />shape of Ka'u's future is at stake here. <br />11. The proposed division of Kau at Punalu'u strikes at our heart. This is overt <br />gerrymandering that would likely be overturned in the courts. <br />ONE KAU! <br />
