It has become abundantly clear to this Commission that adjunct funding and management <br />plans are critical to the long -term success of this program. We will continue to seek solutions to <br />these matters. <br />Next Steps <br />The Commission has developed a timeline for 2008 to accomplish the following tasks: <br />➢ Schedule 2008 regional public meetings. <br />➢ Publicize meeting schedule and encourage contributors to submit complete nomination <br />packages. <br />➢ Develop site visit strategy (with Corporation Counsel) for high ranking proposed <br />properties. <br />➢ Continue to explore other funding sources for land /entitlement acquisitions. <br />➢ Continue to explore other funding sources for land maintenance and management. <br />➢ Continue to attempt to identify potential partnerships with other governmental agencies, <br />non - profit organizations, and private entities for land /entitlement acquisitions. <br />➢ Submit annual report and Prioritized List to the Mayor by December 31, 2008. <br />Appendices <br />1.
