Aloha, <br />am writing to request that the Council Commission on redistricting not approve <br />Plan A as written. As a resident of the Hamakua coast I believe that our interests <br />should be considered independently of other districts and not be subject to the <br />needs or preferences of residents of Hilo, Puna or Kohala. <br />Unless the county is prepared to do without our tax dollars, I do not see how this <br />Plan can be justified (no taxation without representation). <br />Sincerely, <br />Richard Berman <br />Hamakua resident <br />COMM. 48.35 <br />
