Nov 0211 01 :40p Sandy McCleskeyj 8087750701 p.2 <br />November 2, 2011 <br />TO: HawaN county Redistricting Commission <br />would urge the Hawaii County Redistricting commission to vote to adopt <br />Community Plan 40, as amended. <br />We have a small coffee farm on the east side of Pa'au ha u Road. Our coffee is <br />marketed and labeled, according to regulations, as Harnakua coffee. Under Plan <br />A we would have to change our label to read Forth Hilo coffee. I find this a very <br />distasteful thought. After years of encouraging Hamakua agriculture, and the <br />reputation it has earned, this would be a huge setback. <br />I believe the Harnakua District is a unique area and will only be served properly <br />by local representation.
