We <br />have a small coffee farm which we call Misty Acres Hamakua Coffee. We moved to the <br />Hamakua Coast in 2003 and like and enjoy the unique atmosphere of the Harnakua <br />Coast. We feel that the town of Honokaa is the heart of the Hamakua district. Splitting <br />Honokaa from the Hamakua District is just bad business sense. Labeling our coffee as <br />North Hilo Coffee is a load idea .... that name does net reflect our heritage. <br />i am writin g to tell you that I think splitting the Hamakua Coast at Paauhau Road in to <br />North Hilo and Waimea is a BIG POLITICAL MISTAKE. We would lose our uniqueness <br />and our vote would be lost in Hilo and /or Waimea. <br />Please gate to keep Hamakua separate from Hilo or Waimea. <br />Thank you, 94 <br />J seph H.
