This plans allows for a fair balance of County
Council Districts and follows the commission's discussion at the August 24th meeting of what a fair plan of
council districts should look like.
The Hokuloa Church, a 1858 historic church, was built by the Rev. Lorenzo Lyons who built 12 other churches
around the hub of Kamuela. The historic ties of the Puako area and Kamuela /South Kohala are essential for
identify, culture, commerce, and representation on the County Council. 1 am in support of Community Plan 40
with Puako remaining in District 9 with Waimea and North Kohala.
Sincerely,
Rev.
