(Refer to Executive Session.) <br /> UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> Status report from the investigative committee formed to review the Police Department's <br /> Vision/Mission Plan. (Members: Ono (Chair), Horner, Ignacio, Sumja) <br /> EXECUTIVE SESSION (approximately 10:00 a.m.) <br /> To consider discipline and charges against officers or employees of the Hawaii Police <br /> Department, to consider sensitive matters relating to public safety, to discuss the evaluation <br /> of the Police Chief, and to consult with Corporation Counsel on questions and issues <br /> pertaining to the commission's powers, duties, privileges, immunities, and liabilities pursuant <br /> to HRS 92-5 (a) (2) (4) (6) and the Hawaii County Charter Section 13-20 (b). <br /> • Investigation and deliberation of Complaint HPC 11-20: Complainant alleged that while <br /> being processed, an officer yelled at him, pushed him with his wrist, and used <br /> unnecessary force when fingerprinting him. <br /> • Status report of internal and referred complaints. <br /> ➢ Including update of Complaint HPC 11-21 <br /> • Discussion on annual evaluation of Police Chief Harry Kubojiri scheduled for December. <br /> • In-service discussion with Corporation Counsel concerning recent developments in the <br /> law related to the scope of the Police Commission's authority. <br /> ACTION ON EXECUTIVE SESSION MATTERS <br /> ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> • The Police Commission's next monthly meeting will be on Friday, December 16, 2011, at <br /> 9:00 a.m., Aupuni Center Conference Room, 101 Pauahi St., Hilo. <br /> • Collection of files and documents. <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> NOTE: If you require an accommodation or auxiliary aid and/or services to participate in <br /> this meeting (i.e., sign language interpreter, large print, etc.), please call the Police <br /> Commission's office at 932-2950 at least three days prior to the meeting. <br />
