The DOH will be supplying the Department with two Hazcat kits
to assist with the categorizing of unknown hazardous materials. The Hāpuna surveyor tower has been approved using fair
share funds and the Punalu‘u tower will be purchased with CIP funds.

Commissioner Lee asked if Hāpuna Beach is a State or County park.

Chief Rosario replied a State park and the State provides funding to have lifeguards
at the beach.

Sayre Foundation – puurchased 4 rescue boards, 8 megaphones, 2 AEDs,
o
and 13 AED cases.
