TO: Chairwoman Saracusa and Members of the Redistrict Commission, for Hilo
Meeting
RE: Change the lines to North to South boundaries for District 2 and District 3
have lived in Hilo for a very long time and I don't see why the commissioners in
District 2, 3 and 4 want to change the lines from Ocean to Mountain and just keep
the lines going "North to South" as how it has always been. Remember, yourjob
as Commissioners should be putting the best plan for the "People" of Districts 2
and 3 in Hilo.
Remember, District 2 has always represented the "rural and urban" communities.
District 4 has always been the "mix district" and District 3 was mix to because of
Keaau. So why change it now,
Please consider using the following streets; either Komohana or Kapiolani Streets
to divide Districts 2 and 3 and go North of Wailuku River to South to Keaau.
Keep lines going North to South and remember how this will affect the people of
Hilo for the next 10 years.
Thank you,
COMM_ 51-53
