11/29/2011 15:05 808 -881 -8812 COUNTY CLERK PAGE 03/10 <br />TO: Madam Chair and Members of the Redistrict Commission <br />RE: Testimony in Opposition to present map for District 2 and District 3 <br />I'm hoping that the commissioners in District Z, 3 and 4 will make the right choice <br />and amendment the lines going "North to South" as how it has always been and <br />no Ocean to Mountain. <br />I hope that you can start from the following; Go south of the Wainaku Bridge to <br />Wailuku Drive, then West on Wailuku Drive to Ululani Street. Go South on Ululani <br />Street to Ponahawai Street then turn left on Komohana and proceed to Haihai <br />Street. Go East on Haihai Street till you come to Kilauea Avenue, then heed South <br />on Highway 11 out to Keaau and use the existing lines in Keaau that you had <br />proposed. <br />Your population numbers are higher than the NEW LINES that I am proposing to <br />you. Please Commissioners 2, 3 and 4, make the change and check this out; <br />District 2 represents 21,363 and District 3 represents 21,23E which is a difference <br />of 127. Remember, this wilt not afFect any other districts by doing the change. <br />PLEASE LISTEN TO THE PEOPLE OF HII.0 WHO SPOKE UP AND MAKE THE <br />CHANGE! <br />So please change the lines and "KEEP" District 2 as a "rural and urban" and <br />District 3 as the "mix ". <br />Thank you, <br />Resident of Hilo <br />COMM_ 9-01 - 1 0 <br />
