Thursday night’s Kane group winners were; third place Na Kupuna O Moana, second place; <br />Na Kupuna O Ka‘u, and first place Kane group winners were Ke Ola Pono No Na Kupuna scoring <br />312 points. Third place in the group Wahine division was Japanese halau, Mele Ohana O Kahoku. <br />Second place awards went to Ke Ola Pono No Na Kupuna, and first place winners from Japan, <br />Keolalaulani Halau Olapa O Laka won with 392.5 points after the tie breaker judge’s scores were <br />added to the final tally. The three winning halau in the mixed group competition were; third place Na <br />Kupuna O Ko‘olau, second place; Na Kupuna O Ka`u, and the overall mixed group winner, scoring <br />318.5 points, Na Kupuna O Moana from Moloka‘i.
