OLD BUSINESS: <br />5) NKCDP AC SUBCOMMITTEE REPORTS (30 minutes) – NKCDP AC members will <br />report on the recent activity of the subcommittees: <br />a. <br />Growth Management – The subcommittee will report on land use applications <br /> <br />submitted to the Planning Department. <br />b. Public Access – The subcommittee will provide an update about the activities at <br /> <br />update on the fundraising <br />Hapu'u-Kapanai'a and a letter that will be drafted; <br />activities for <br />Kauhola Lighthouse; update on the pedestrian trail at Pahoa <br />(Honomakau); update on grant of easements for the Upolu Airport – east end of <br />an update on the <br />the runway; and Upolu Airport Area Restoration. <br />c. Infrastructure A – The subcommittee will report on the Mahukona and Kapaa <br />Beach Parks and will provide an update on the Department of Water Supply <br />project. <br />d. Infrastructure B – The subcommittee will provide updates on electricity <br />reliability/redundancy; HELCO links to the wind farm; and transmission lines <br />through Kohala to supply geothermal power to Oahu via an undersea cable. <br />e. Affordable Housing – The subcommittee will provide updates on affordable <br /> <br />housing and land. <br />f.
