CORRESPONDENCE <br />None. <br /> <br />REPORTS <br />A. Education <br />1. Urgent Services Directory <br />N. Kelly reported that the Prosecutor’s Office will be allocating $1,500 from the <br />Domestic Violence Strategic Plan Implementation Grant to print the directory next <br />year. CSW members agreed to update a column each. <br /> <br />N. Kelly said there are approximately four cases left with 1,000 directories in <br />each case. She suggested updating the directory annually in May. <br /> <br />2. Equal Pay <br />After some discussion, CSW decided to wait until next year to plan any events in <br />April. K. Nova said that the committee can ask E. Cabatu whether funding can <br />be provided by the Hawaii State Commission on the Status of Women (HSCSW). <br /> <br />F. Gomes explained that the reason why she is here is because the University <br />System CSW is interested in finding out what is currently being done on the <br />different islands. Secondly, whether or not there might be ways that they can <br />partner which includes the sharing of certain resources. <br /> <br />B. Health <br />1. Community Reports <br />None. <br /> <br />UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br />A. Essay Contest – C. Kitaoka <br />C. Kitaoka reported that the essays are due today. She has some essays turned in <br />and more should be coming in. She has most of the judges secured and asked <br />CSW members if anyone was interested in being a judge. The luncheon will be held <br />in the beginning of March 2012 and the date has not been determined yet. <br /> <br />N. Kelly pointed out that CSW spent $3,759 on the essay contest. The committee <br />may have to scale back a little. CSW suggested paying for one guest instead of two <br />guests and negotiating the cost of the lunch to $25 per person instead of $30. <br /> 2 <br /> <br />
