OLD BUSINESS: <br />4) NKCDP AC SUBCOMMITTEE REPORTS (30 minutes) – NKCDP AC members will <br />report on the recent activity of the subcommittees: <br />a. <br />Growth Management – The subcommittee will report on land use applications <br />submitted to the Planning Department. <br /> <br />b. Public Access – The subcommittee will provide an update on the trail at Kohala <br />on the <br />Kai; update on activities at Hapu'u-Kapanai'a; update Kauhola Lighthouse; <br />update on the pedestrian trail at Pahoa (Honomakau); update on the new parking <br />lot at Upolu Airport –east end of the runway; Upolu Airport Area restoration; <br />update on Coast Guard road; update on Kukuipahu; and grant of easement <br />documents. <br />c. Infrastructure A – The subcommittee will report on the Mahukona and Kapaa <br />Beach Parks. <br />d. Infrastructure B – The subcommittee will provide updates on ongoing efforts <br />of coordination of routes for the proposed electric loop for North Kohala and <br />transmission of geothermal power to Oahu; view plane protection and rural <br />infrastructure. <br /> <br />e. Affordable Housing – The subcommittee will provide updates on affordable <br />housing and land; discuss with Corporation Counsel the authority of the <br />subcommittee. <br />f.
