Hawaii Police Commission <br />Meeting Agenda <br />April 20, 2012 <br />Page 2 <br />• Finance report <br />➢ Summary of budget and expenditures for fiscal year 2011 -12. <br />➢ Review of budget and expenditures for fiscal year 2012 -13 which is scheduled for <br />review by the County Council on April 19. <br />• Commendations of sworn and civilian employees. <br />• Other departmental activities including those related to administration and <br />operations. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />• Presentation by Richard Hoeflinger on the proposed Hawaii Public Shooting Range <br />at Pu'uanahulu. <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION (approximately 11:00 a.m.) <br />To consider discipline and charges against officers or employees of the Hawaii Police <br />Department, to consider sensitive matters relating to public safety, and to consult with <br />Corporation Counsel on questions and issues pertaining to the commission's powers, <br />duties, privileges, immunities, and liabilities pursuant to HRS 92 -5 (a) (2) (4) (6) and the <br />Hawaii County Charter Section 13 -20 (b). <br />INVESTIGATION AND DELIBERATION OF COMPLAINTS (Executive Session) <br />• HPC 11 -39: Complainant alleged that an officer arrested him for false reporting. He <br />also alleged numerous illegal activities taking place around the island (continued <br />from previous meeting). <br />• HPC 11 -40: Complainant alleged that an officer spoke to her in an unprofessional <br />manner (continued from previous meeting). <br />• HPC 12 -04: Complainant alleged that an officer's report was missing information. <br />• HPC 12 -05: Complainant alleged that an officer refused to make a report, was rude, <br />littered on her drive -way, and that the police report was missing information. <br />• HPC 12 -06: Complainant alleged that an officer's report did not report the truth and <br />was missing information. <br />• HPC 12 -07: Complainant alleged that two officers went to her residence twice in <br />one day, but the police report had only one incident. She also alleged that the report <br />has non - truths, and that the officers harassed her son. <br />
