JoeCarvalho,secondedbyGiovannaGherardiandpassedthatweappointatwoperson <br />subcommitteetoreviewthesituation,collectinformationanddeterminewhatthepossible <br />alternativesareforaction.Afterfurtherdiscussion,thissecondmotionwasthenamendedby <br />JoeCarvalho,secondedbyRichardLiebmannandpassedunanimouslythattwopeoplebe <br />appointedtothissubcommittee.BobMartinandHermannFernandezwerenominatedandwill <br />reportbackattheJanuarymeeting. <br />OLDBUSINESS <br />2.ReviewDraftOperatingGuidelines.AmotionwasmadebyGiovannaGherardi,secondedbyRon <br />FrimanandpassedunanimouslythatwetablethisissueuntiltheJanuarymeeting.TheChair <br />requestedthateachmemberreviewtheOperatingGuidelinesdocumentandbringtheir <br />opinionstotheJanuarymeeting. <br />3.ReviewExpectationsDocument.Afterminorchanges,amotionwasmadebyRichardLiebmann, <br />secondedbyRonFrimanandpassedunanimouslytoaccepttheExpectationsDocumentin <br />content.Further,amotionwasmadebyRichardLiebmann,secondedbyHermannFernandez <br />andpassedunanimouslythatthisdocumentberenamed{!-·zCommitteeMember <br />9ã¦;-· ·z|uGiovannawillreformatandsendcopiesofthefinaldocumenttotheCommittee <br />members. <br />4.AdministrativeItemsRelatingtotheStructureoftheNKCDPACMeetings. <br />(a)RichardLiebmannmadeamotionthatthemeetingsbeheldthesecondMondayofeachmonth <br />at4:30p.m.attheSeniorCenter.JoeCarvalhosecondedthismotion.Adiscussionfollowed <br />regardingtheflexibilityofdatesandtimesandthemotionwaspassedunanimously. <br />(b)ElectionofChairandViceChair.JoeCarvalhomadeamotiontonominateBobMartinasChair, <br />GiovannaGherardiseconded.BobagreedtocontinueasChairfortheremainingofthe <br />calendaryear.Themotionwaspassedunanimously. <br />JoeCarvalhomadeamotiontonominateGiovannaGherardiasViceChair,CollinKaholo <br />seconded.Giovannaagreedtoaoneyearterm.Themotionwaspassedunanimously. <br />(c)CreateSubcommitteeStructure.RonFrimanmadeamotionfortheproposaloffour <br />subcommittees: <br />(i)InfrastructureandPublicFacilities <br />(ii)AccessandCulturalSites <br />(iii)AgricultureandGrowthManagement <br />(iv)Housing(ResidentialandCommercial) <br />ThemotionwassecondedbyHermannFernandezandopenedfordiscussion.Itwasgenerally <br />feltthatweshouldconsiderthecommitteestructureprovidedusintheexistingCDP,andthat <br />weshouldfocusandbuildonthesesubcommitteestructures.Withavoteofoneayeandeight <br />nays,themotionwasnotpassed. <br />2 <br /> <br />
