It was moved by Commissioner Iokepa and seconded by Commissioner Hickcox that the <br />Commission approve the revocation of SMA Use Permit No. 05-01. A roll call vote was taken and <br />the motion carried with five ayes (Iokepa, Hickcox, Nelson, Whittemore and Giffin) and two absent <br />and excused (Beaudet and Bowman). <br /> <br />MINUTES – The Commission took up approval of the following minutes at 10:15 a.m.: <br /> <br />April 19, 2012 – The minutes were approved by a voice vote of all Commissioners in attendance. <br /> <br />May 17, 2012 – The minutes were approved by a voice vote of all Commissioners in attendance. <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS <br /> <br />1.Status of applications heard by Leeward Planning Commission that are pending before County <br />Council – Mr. Arai informed the Commission that both Bill 231 (an amendment to the Zoning <br />Code, relating to notification requirements for zoning amendment, project district and <br />agricultural project district applications) and Bill 232 (an amendment to the Zoning Code, <br />relating to crematoriums, funeral homes, funeral services and mortuaries in support of Bill 90), <br />which had been forwarded with the Commission’s favorable recommendation to the County <br />Council, passed the second and final reading on June 6, 2012. <br /> <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS – Mr. Arai asked the Commissioners to let their availability known to the <br />secretary for the next meeting on July 19, 2012; he said that it might turn out to be a relatively long <br />meeting. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT – There being no further business, at 10:20 a.m., it was moved by Commissioner <br />Hickcox and seconded by Commissioner Nelson that the meeting be adjourned.
