Minutes of the Meetings of August 13, 2012 and September 12, 2012. <br />REPORTS <br />1) <br />LAND USE PERMIT ACTIVITY REPORT (10 minutes) – Rosalind Newlon, NKCDP Project <br />Manager will report on Planning Dept. permits received in the previous month for the North <br />Kohala district. <br />2) <br />REPORT TO THE ACTION COMMITTEE OF THE SEPTEMBER 25, 2012 MEETING WITH <br />THE PLANNING DEPARTMENT AND CORPORATION COUNSEL (10 Minutes) – John <br />Winter, NKCDP AC Chair will provide a report to the AC on the meeting between the <br />Planning Department, Corporation Counsel and the Chairs and Vice Chairs of the North and <br />South Kohala CDP Action Committees that was held on September 25, 2012. <br />3) <br />NKCDP AC SUBCOMMITTEE REPORTS (30 minutes) – NKCDP AC members will report on <br />the recent activity of the subcommittees: <br />a. <br />Growth Management – The subcommittee will report on land use applications <br />submitted to the Planning Department and an update on draft procedures and <br /> <br />policies. <br />b. <br />Public Access – The subcommittee will provide an update on; Puakea Bay Ranch; <br />Kauhola Lighthouse; Ainakea; Pahoa (Honomakau); Upolu Airport Area restoration; <br />old government roads and railroads; grant of easement documents; activities at <br /> <br />Hapu'u-Kapanai'a; and Ala Kaha Kai Music and Talk Story. <br />c.
